Job Description
An established manufacturing company in Blacksburg, SC is seeking a Finishing Senior Service Associate with prior dyeing or finishing experience. In this role, you will operate production equipment, monitor processes, maintain quality standards, and support safe and efficient department operations. You will also perform basic equipment maintenance and transport materials using motorized material-handling equipment. This position is ideal for a self-driven candidate who can troubleshoot production issues and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operate production equipment according to established procedures and department instructions
  • Monitor process parameters and equipment performance to maintain product quality and operating specifications
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance, including lubricating, cleaning, tightening, and scheduled cleaning
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Transport fabric and materials throughout the facility using forklifts, tuggers, and other material-handling equipment
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Prior dyeing/finishing or textile experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware, desktop operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with management, coworkers, vendors, and customers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate motorized material-handling equipment
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule
