Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing therapists to operate from any location within Maryland. Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Services: Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, employing a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
  • Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive client assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools to develop personalized treatment plans, and regularly evaluate client progress to adapt interventions as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous and timely progress notes, treatment plans, and necessary documentation in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations, ensuring a high level of compliance and quality.
  • Collaboration: Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic care and coordinate treatment plans across disciplines.
  • Crisis Intervention: Assess and manage acute crisis situations, offering immediate support and intervention to clients experiencing distress, thereby ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Community Outreach: Actively represent Key Well Counseling in community events and networking opportunities to build relationships with local providers, organizations, and clients, promoting mental health awareness and services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCMFT will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and grief. Qualifications
  • Current Maryland LCMFT license (or eligibility for licensure in Maryland).
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with varied populations and mental health conditions.
