Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Logistician with specialized expertise in the packaging, handling, and shipping of energetics and weapon systems. This role requires deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and logistics coordination for sensitive defense materials. The successful candidate will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient movement of critical defense assets while maintaining the highest standards of security and operational excellence.

Logistics Operations
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute packaging and shipping operations for energetics, ammunition, and weapon systems
  • Develop and maintain logistics plans for complex defense materials requiring specialized handling
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and transportation providers
  • Manage inventory control and tracking systems for sensitive materials
  • Oversee warehouse operations and storage requirements for hazardous materials
  • Regulatory Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) regulations

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

    Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require minimal walking, standing for extended amounts of time, climbing, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
