Key Responsibilities
  • Lead WMS discovery workshops covering receiving, quality inspection, putaway, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, returns, and warehouse exception processes.
  • Document current-state and future-state warehouse and plant-logistics processes for raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, service parts, returnable containers, and customer shipments.
  • Configure Oracle Fusion WMS capabilities for facilities, locations, zones, location types, item attributes, inventory controls, RF/mobile transactions, warehouse tasking, directed putaway, replenishment, allocation, waving, picking, packing, loading, and shipping.

  • Design automotive-specific warehouse processes including line-side replenishment, Kanban, milk runs, cross-docking, sequencing, kitting, consolidation, returnable-container handling, and JIT/JIS fulfillment.
  • Partner with Order Management, Inventory, Manufacturing, Procurement, Transportation, EDI, and PaaS teams to enable end-to-end pick-pack-ship and shipment-confirmation processes.
  • Define warehouse exception processes for shortages, damaged material, failed scans, mis-picks, substitutions, labeling errors, late orders, split shipments, and premium-freight situations.
  • Support data migration for warehouse master data, facilities, locations, zones, items, inventory balances, lot/serial records, LPNs, and open transactions.
  • Develop process maps, configuration workbooks, test scripts, training materials, cutover plans, hypercare procedures, and warehouse operating procedures.
  • Lead SIT, UAT, device testing, integration testing, peak-volume testing, shipping compliance testing, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Support command-center operations and post-go-live optimization.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of warehouse-management or warehouse-execution implementation experience.
  • 3+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS implementation or support experience.
  • Strong functional knowledge of receiving, putaway, replenishment, wave planning, allocation, picking, packing, loading, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory control.
  • Experience configuring warehouse master data, facility structures, locations, zones, tasking, RF/mobile processes, inventory statuses, and exception-management processes.
  • Automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, plant-logistics, sequencing-center, or JIT/JIS warehouse experience.
  • Experience with returnable packaging, dunnage, racks, container loops, line-side supermarkets, and Kanban replenishment.
  • Experience integrating WMS with Oracle Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Transportation, and external material-handling or print systems.
  • Strong knowledge of barcodes, RF scanning, lot/serial traceability, containerization, label printing, and warehouse performance metrics.
