The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the discovery, definition, development, and launch of software products and product enhancements. This position owns assigned features, enhancements, or product areas with guidance from senior product leaders, while continuing to build product management judgment, technical fluency, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills. This is a Product Manager role that supports our Math portfolio. Candidates with a keen interest in education curricula and the intricacies of Core and supplemental materials would thrive in our environment.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Product Management Director.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $89,745.00 and $110,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.
Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 20% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Support problem discovery, solution discovery, product design, implementation, and go-to-market activities for assigned products, features, or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product design, curriculum, product marketing, sales, customer success, and other cross-functional partners to define customer needs, user problems, desired outcomes, product requirements, product enablement, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Facilitate and participate in customer and user research in partnership with internal stakeholders, account teams, and product team members.
  • Gather, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support data-informed product decisions and prioritization.
  • Maintain and refine product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and related artifacts throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Help prepare for planning activities by clarifying requirements, identifying dependencies, communicating priorities, and supporting alignment across product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Own assigned product enhancements or feature work from discovery through delivery, with appropriate guidance from senior product leaders.
  • Use AI-enabled tools and modern product practices to accelerate research, discovery, prototyping, documentation, and validation, where appropriate.
  • Communicate product updates, decisions, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and team members.
  • Other duties as required.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or education and at least 2 years of experience in product management, software product development, or business analysis; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting software products, digital products, or technology-enabled solutions through the product lifecycle.
  • Candidates with research, testing or data analysis experience are highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, design, business, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize customer feedback, user research, product data, and stakeholder input to inform product decisions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and curiosity about customer and user needs.
  • Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and follow through on commitments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with agile or lean development practices.
  • Ability to be self-directed while also seeking guidance, feedback, and alignment from senior product leaders when needed.
  • Comfort using AI-enabled tools, prototyping tools, product analytics, or related technology to improve speed, quality, and learning in product work.
  • Ability to travel 20% to meet with stakeholders and team members.
