Job description


Infosys is seeking a Network Datacenter Hand and Feet Analyst. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent educational qualification.
  • This position is based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate. The role may involve occasional travel and/or relocation as required.
  • At least 0-1 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience with Hands and feed support for Data Center operations is a plus.
  • Candidates must be available to work onsite on a Rotating / Flexible shift timings at respective Datacenter to provide. It includes both demand onsite support, and extended shift coverage as needed.
  • Candidate must be available to work on a rotating shift schedule to provide support at Datacenter.
    Shift 1 06:00-15:00 PST
    Shift 2 14:00-23:00 PST
    Shift 3 22:00-07:00 PST
  • Installations: Rack & stack IT devices, configure ILO/IDRAC, perform ping tests, install trunks, patch cords, panels, and power cables.
  • Audits & Support: Conduct IT/DC Track audits, approve vendor access, provide on-call and emergency coverage.
  • Break/Fix: Troubleshoot cables (SM, MM, copper), execute change requests, replace hardware parts (NICs, SFPs, memory, drives).
  • Decommissioning: Remove patch cords and old hardware, manage media disposal (wipe/shred), coordinate ADR/ERI tracking.
  • Hardware Receiving: Handle package pickup/delivery, update HRS/DC Tracks, RMA parts, track assets.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's Datacenter operations environment.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, messages, emails and/or work orders regarding datacenter operations problems.
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams, business stakeholders.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Good Communication and Analytical skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
