Job description

Job Title: Scada Ignition Engineer

Overview

We are partnering with an engineering-driven organization focused on delivering advanced building automation and energy management solutions across commercial and industrial environments.

This role will play a key part in designing and developing modern control system interfaces and infrastructure, leveraging Ignition to support scalable HVAC and Building Management System (BMS) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onsite commissioning, working with Ignition-based SCADA/HMI applications for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Platforms (EMP).
  • Seeking PLC/HMI programmers that can step in and help support commissioning efforts
  • Doing more field work I/O checks, point to point, ensuring all data getting from temperature sensors/flow sensors/ and all info is going into dashboard and going into the SCADA (ignition) accurately.
  • Troubleshoot/debug any issues
  • Programs have been written; we are in a crunch and need folks to help support loop check/commissioning/chiller start ups
  • Build and configure intuitive dashboards, graphical displays, and user interfaces for HVAC equipment and facility operations
  • Develop system architecture, including tag structures, alarming and trending strategies, and navigation layouts
  • Configure and manage Ignition gateways, projects, and associated modules

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
