Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based on-site at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Punta Gorda, Florida. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial evaluations of patients' physical conditions, developing a tailored plan of care that reflects their individual needs.
• Implementing treatment protocols based on your evaluations, utilizing advanced methodologies and adaptive equipment as necessary to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly, while ensuring timely documentation of all patient interactions, treatment notes, and progress reports.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to discuss patient care, share insights, and refine treatment strategies.
• Guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, promoting education about their health conditions, and advising on preventative measures.
• Maintaining compliance with all corporate, clinical, state, and federal regulations to ensure the highest quality of care and operational integrity.
• Participating in continuous personal and team development through attending training sessions, workshops, and facility meetings.

You will primarily work with a diverse orthopedic patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is pivotal in providing compassionate, evidence-based care that enhances mobility and overall functionality, assisting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

A minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, preferably focused in orthopedic settings. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation techniques and tools, as well as experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, will be advantageous to your application.

Headstrong Rehabilitation & Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
