Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough initial evaluations of patients' physical conditions, developing a tailored plan of care that reflects their individual needs.
- Implementing treatment protocols based on your evaluations, utilizing advanced methodologies and adaptive equipment as necessary to enhance patient recovery.

You will primarily work with a diverse orthopedic patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is pivotal in providing compassionate, evidence-based care that enhances mobility and overall functionality, assisting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate for this position will possess:
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
A minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, preferably focused in orthopedic settings. Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation techniques and tools, as well as experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, will be advantageous to your application.
