We are seeking a highly motivated CAD Draftsperson (with a Surveying emphasis) for our St. Louis, MO

office to join the ABNA family!


Job Responsibilities:

Work effectively with a diverse team to create and deliver quality survey drawings in a timely manner.

Create and edit terrain models, extract data from point clouds, and prepare easement documents. Plot legal

descriptions for parcels, easements, and right of way plans. Use AutoCAD or MicroStation proficiently in

daily assignments. Analyze and adjust field data and prepare exhibits for field work. Review survey

drawings and exhibits for quality control. Mindset focused on learning and improving all aspects of work.

Incorporate field notes and records into CAD Drawings. Communicate effectively with team members.


Requirements:

• Familiarity with IDOT, MODOT and NCS drafting standards (preferred)

• Two years related experience (or equivalent working knowledge/experience or a 2-year degree in

drafting/design related field (required)

• Proficiency in utilizing MicroStation or AutoCAD software (preferred)

• Knowledge and proficiency of Civil3D and ORD tools (preferred)

• Exposure to civil/highway/structural/architectural projects (preferred)

• Knowledge of other software, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and use of computer

systems (required)

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills (required)

• Ability to follow standards to produce consistent and concise drawings (required)

• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment (required).

• Previous land survey experience a plus.

• Surveyors or LSIT/LSIs with relevant experience are encouraged to apply, with a minimum of 1 year

in production of CADD developed drawings or a strong technical background and computer

proficiency.
