As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our many in-park Food and Beverage locations throughout the park. Working as a Food & Beverage Attendant is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, food preparation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
We are currently looking for a:
Idlewild and SoakZone: Food & Beverage Attendant
Roles & Responsibilities:
Role & Responsibilities:
• Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!
• Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure exceptional customer service
• Assist guests by quickly and politely answering their questions
• Prepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelines
• Conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed - including credit and refund transactions.
• Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.
• Assist in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if needed
• All other duties assigned by leadership
Education and Experience:
• No education requirements for this role
• Previous work experience is not required
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements:
• Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies
• Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulations
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction
• Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
• Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
• Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment
• Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more
Working Conditions:
• This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments
• Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
• Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments
