About the Role
Optimal Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable staff member to provide Individualized Community Living Support (ICLS) services. This position helps individuals live safely and independently in their home and community.
Client Support Needs
The client needs assistance to maintain independence, safety, and comfort at home. Support may include:
  • Help scheduling and attending appointments
  • Assistance with bill payments, mail management, and accessing benefits
  • Transportation support as needed
  • Help applying pain cream when needed
  • House cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, doing dishes, and mopping floors
  • Laundry assistance
  • Light housekeeping including dusting, organizing, and bathroom cleaning
  • Meal planning and grocery shopping
  • Encouragement to participate in community activities and meaningful routines
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in health or functioning to the care team
Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
