Job description

Job Title: IAM Application Analyst Location: Remote Pay Rate: Open to Both C2C and W2 options Position Type: Multiyear Contract The IT Analyst role will work with the IAM team, business and application owners eliciting Application Onboarding requirements, testing validation and performing data analysis to ensure correct application onboarding to IAM for Identity Governance and Administration. Researches, analyzes, and documents data, requirements, workflow/ processes, functionality and/or controls related to Identity & Access Management. Develops and evaluates information, and prepares recommendations based on analysis for use in decision-making. Applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Works on the most complex, high impact projects. Serves as a technical specialist or advisor to the IAM transformation and compliance team. Acts as a liaison or subject matter expert to business and technical stakeholders transitioning to new IAM transformation and compliance processes. Responsibilities Leads and provides complex analysis across business stakeholders, technical stakeholders and other analysts supporting significant transformational and operational initiatives for the Identity & Access Management (IAM) services. Specific analysis efforts include but are not limited to the following: • Assist stakeholders in understanding IAM capabilities and functions. • Facilitate translation of business and operational needs from Member and Workforce channels and related stakeholders to improve existing capabilities and define new IAM transformational capabilities. • Gather requirements for onboarding applications for provisioning access and access certifications, meeting appropriate controls. • Create appropriate business test cases and test scripts and perform testing to ensure completeness. • Analyze data in sources such as ServiceNow, Access Directories (AD/RACF/LDAP, etc.), HR, Application, to provide use case input to stakeholders. • Support business and technical stakeholders in transitioning to new IAM capabilities and services across various IAM domains such as Access Management, Identity Lifecycle Management and Privileged Access Management. • Ensure IAM governance structures adhere to defined policies and standards. Ensure that IAM core capabilities, IAM operations, business stakeholder usage and application integrations follow the governance structures. • Maintain a continuous and strong security posture across all business and ISD IAM stakeholders via ongoing, proactive reviews of account access and authorization, and designing short- and long-term improvements to ensure violations are remediated. Additional Responsibilities • Analyze application functions and systems integrations, requirements, data, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics (Complex analysis). • Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, including alternatives and implications (Significant Impact). • Collaborate with other business units to analyze and improve processing procedures and resolve problems (Significant impact). • Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material (Leadership). • Work with peers, business units and/or project teams, and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented and satisfied (Leadership). • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and establish processes and methodologies for preventative mitigation (Complex analysis). • Compile, review and prepare data to be used by analysts and management in the analysis of operations, services and products (Most complex/Unusual). • Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance (Significant impact). • Analyze information to produce analytically-driven inferences and hypotheses to generate actionable recommendations (Complex analysis). • Solve business problems by defining the problem, interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings (Most complex/Unusual). • Provide input into best practices for the respective area (Leadership). • Ensure compliance with the organization's standards and best practices • Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications • 8+ years of experience working in Information Systems Analytics, Data Analytics or Application and Platform Requirements Gathering for any Identity Governance Administration (IGA) products such as SailPoint, Saviynt, etc. • 8+ years of experience with operational, governance, or business and technical engagement function within an IAM organization, preferably in a financial services organization • Desired - Specific experience with transition of business and operational applications to new IAM governance processes • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, Business or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience • Expert skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines • Extensive experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence • Expert research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Extensive experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions • Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills. • Expert skill communicating with all levels within an organization and acting as a trusted liaison between IT delivery teams and front-office business units • Extensive experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects • Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely • Advanced relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills • Extensive experience in leading, guiding & mentoring others • Expert skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Expert skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions • Strong critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Remains cognizant of and adheres to the organization's policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
