Job Title: IV Therapy Registered Nurse
Profession: RN IV

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in IV/Venous Access team
License: Active RN License
Certifications: AHA BLS
Must-Have:
- IV insertion
- Ultrasound Guided IVs
- PICC line insertion
Description:
IV Therapy RN position available for 32 hours per week.
All IV Therapy Registered Nurses must achieve and maintain the required core IV Therapy skills and competencies for the department.
Required skills include: Peripheral IV insertion, CVAD dressing change, non-tunneled CVAD removal, reconstitution, instillation and removal of thrombolytic, access/de-access implanted ports, repositioning a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), and the ability to perform ultrasound guided IV line placements.
The patient population includes all ages: neonatal, infant, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
The EMR (charting system) utilized is EPIC.
This position does not require floating.
All day shift positions are rotating.
