Job description

Position Summary:
As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for providing direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectables as ordered, as well as appropriate patient education
• Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies
• Establish PIV access
• Access PIV & Ports
• Medication preparation (Mixing) and Medication administration
• Triage infusion patient inquiries
• Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion
• Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care
• Adheres to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties
Required Knowledge and Skills
• Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience
• Comprehensive Nursing Assessment
• Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
• Excellent customer service skills
