Job description

At CFE, Inc., we are a national leader in the commercial roofing industry, and we're looking for a dedicated Roofing Foreman to lead our teams in the safe and successful completion of projects. Your focus will be on safety, quality workmanship, team productivity, and customer satisfaction. If you're ready to lead projects with your hands-on expertise, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team and coordinate the proper installation and repair of commercial roofing systems.
  • Collaborate in the development of project plans with the Project Manager and Field Superintendent.
  • Supervise, motivate, and train team members, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate team performance, providing guidance on application techniques, productivity, and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Maintain communication with the client's representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades as required.
  • Stay up-to-date on manufacturer specifications and implement them across all relevant projects.

Position Requirements:

  • Construction Supervision Experience: Proven experience as a roofing foreman or in a similar supervisory role..
  • Specialized Skills: In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and techniques.
  • Technical Drawing (Blueprint) Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (blueprints), as it facilitates precise execution of each project.
  • Tools of the trade: Candidates are expected to provide their own hand tools necessary for completing tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel: Candidates must be open to traveling to job sites.
  • Reliable transportation: Personal transportation is required to commute to and from various job sites.
