Job description

The purpose of the Customer Service Representative role is to ensure smooth, effective communication and timely service delivery for customers. The CSR is critical in maintaining strong customer relationships by addressing customer needs, processing orders, providing accurate product information, and resolving any issues or inquiries. This role requires the ability to learn and understand basic Fluid Power concepts. This role plays an essential part in delivering Hyspeco's mission to optimize customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • The essential duties and responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include:
  • Customer Communication
  • Handle inbound customer calls, provide clear information, resolve inquiries, and follow up on quotes, sales orders, and purchase orders to ensure timely processing and delivery.
  • Order/Account Management
  • Process orders accurately, manage logistics and shipping, and ensure timely fulfillment with minimal delays.
  • Vendor and Product Knowledge
  • Understand products and the industry, using resources to find answers and learn beyond data entry tasks, while utilizing vendor portals (Parker Hannifin, TrulinX, PhConnect, Distranet, TOPZ) for order entry, status updates, and vendor relationship management.
  • Cross Departmental Collaboration
  • Collaborate with production, sales, accounting, and other CSRs, and vendors to ensure smooth order processing and resolve issues.
  • Training and Professional Development
  • Participate in ongoing product and pricing training to maintain accurate knowledge of products, company offerings, and pricing tools such as SPAs, price multipliers, and other pricing strategies.
  • Upholds Hyspeco Safety and Personnel Policies as well as Hyspeco’s core values.
  • Upholds ISO 9001:2015 requirements as defined in Hyspeco’s quality procedures / processes.
