Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to gather complex business requirements and turn into practical planning, reporting analytical solutions
  • Effective in full life cycle development of Hyperion Planning or Essbase solutions;ย Including system requirements; design, build, and implementation and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and optimization of applications
  • Build effective and sustainable client relationships

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on development experience with the Hyperion Planning or Essbase products
  • Developer level knowledge of data integration tools such as ODI and FDM
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion reporting tools - Financial Reporting and SmartView
  • Sound understanding of corporate finance processes and technology including knowledge of key corporate operational systems (ERP, GL, Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • Experience with structured project management implementation process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interfacing with business users
  • Good troubleshooting and technical skills
  • Ability to productively work from home office
  • 4 year degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Business
  • Eligible to work in the United States


Preferred Skills

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Experience with multiple products in the Oracle Hyperion product family (HFM, OBIEE)
  • Hyperion Certified Professional
  • CPA or MBA
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Previous Finance or accounting experience
  • Relational database experience

This position requires a readiness to travel nationally without restrictions. While our goal is to work locally in the Midwest, this position may require significant out of town travel.ย
