Job Description:

Looking to migrate data from our Hyperion Planning environment where the data is stored in an Essbase multi-dimensional database, into our Enterprise Data Warehouse.

  • This involves taking the fragmented multi-dimensional hierarchical structures and translating them into meaningful relational structures.
  • The hierarchical data needs to be aligned across each dimension into meaningful business grouping and terms that can be stored in a relational / star schema format.
  • Data relationships need to be identified, documented and mapped.
  • Work with Kemper data architect to determine the best EDW target structures (star schema).
  • Document data transformations for the ETL developer.
  • Test data loaded from Essbase into the EDW for completeness and accuracy.


Qualifications

Knowledge of Essbase, relational DB and financial processes are needed. Insurance experience would be extremely helpful.
