Need Only local to Houston, TX
Description:
Under general supervision, exercising a high degree of independent judgment and skill on problems frequently of a complex and confidential nature, to participate in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. In this position this resource will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide technical support for our current on prem applications and EPM cloud upgrade project.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • using in-depth knowledge of the Oracle EPM Cloud Applications, as well as industry best practice expertise, develop solutions to improve planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation;
  • use Python, Groovy, APIs, and EPM Automate to automate data administration tasks;
  • perform system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing; drive efficiency in FP&A processes by automating manual tasks and processes globally;
  • support On-Perm systems while we migrate over to EPM Cloud;
  • provide system administration for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) applications;
  • provide end user support, the data load processes through FDMEE for Hyperion Planning and HFM applications;
  • support for Month End closing processes, metadata updates, report updates, etc.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • 10+ years hands on technical experience with Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite of products, Smart View;
  • 5+ Years of implementation experience in EPM Cloud products;
  • good understanding of Income statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, different methods of consolidation and their calculations and disclosure in financial statement;
  • highly skilled in Oracle EPM Cloud - Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and Narrative Reporting(NR);
  • strong technical skills on Oracle EPM components (ASO, BSO, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Load Rules, MaxL and MDX);
  • solid understanding of accounting, Long Range Planning, planning and budgeting concepts;
  • understanding of IT Security concepts (Access Controls, Change Management, etc.);
  • involved in security design and implementation is a plus;
  • knowledge or SQL Server database and SQL language a plus;
  • expertise in developing custom integrations using EPM Data Integration, Data Integration Pipeline, Groovy Business Rule, and EPM Automate;
  • hands-on knowledge of scripting (Batch/Python/PowerShell);
  • strong technical skills including writing HFM rules, financial studio reports;
  • strong technical skills including writing/creating calculation scripts, business rules, MAXL automation scripts, load rules, web forms, financial reports;
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • solid experience using MS Office with an expert level in Excel;
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • excellent analytical skills;
  • dedication for high quality service for business users;
  • desire to always look for alternative and better ways to solve problems and provide solutions;
  • the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize competing deliverable.
