Ladd Dental Group is a proud, family-owned dental practice with a reputation for providing high-quality care across Indiana. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Hygiene Assistant to join our Peru, IN team. If you are a team player who excels at patient comfort and clinical efficiency, we want to meet you!

Hygiene Assistant

Job Description

Patient Intake: Welcome and seat patients; review and update medical histories (allergies, medications, etc.); record vitals including blood pressure.
Clinical Support: Assist the dentist using four-handed dentistry; provide diagnostic information by exposing/developing radiographs and pouring/trimming study models.
Hygiene Support: Complete room setups and breakdowns; clean and maintain units/lights; perform coronal polishing and fluoride application (if certified).
Lab Work: Fabricate temporary restorations and clean/polish removable appliances.
Patient Education: Provide clear instructions on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care.
Administrative: Maintain accurate charting and documentation in patient records.

Salary Range

Part-time $34,704 - $44,344 per year

Current CPR and First-Aid/BLS Certification.
Experience with dental prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
