The Opportunity
Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Corporate Counsel to join our Corporate Affairs and Legal Department. In this role, you will be a part of and report into the governance and compliance team and support public company and subsidiary governance matters and general compliance matters, including ethics reporting and monitoring. You will be part of a team that is passionate about our purpose, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills, and building connections across the organization with colleagues, customers, and guests. The position is located at the Company's headquarters in downtown Chicago, Illinois.

The Role
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage cross-functional legal and compliance projects and training, including working closely with HR and Global Learning teams to reinforce Hyatt's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other compliance policies
• Assist with compliance monitoring and reporting, legal regulations, and risk assessments
• Monitor ethics reporting and provide guidance to various stakeholders on compliance matters
• Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K, and Proxy Statement
• Ensure ongoing compliance with NYSE listing standards and evolving securities regulations
• Advise and assist on securities law matters, including Regulation FD, insider trading compliance, and Section 16 reporting
• Review and support earnings releases, investor presentations, press releases, and other external disclosures
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on disclosure and compliance programs
• Support global subsidiary governance matters
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Internal Audit, HR, Investor Relations, and Communications teams
• Work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and outside counsel on matters, as necessary, to accomplish legal and business objectives
