Job description


Position: HVAC Manager
Department: Engineering
Essential Job Functions:
  • Supervise and lead the HVAC team, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance oversight
  • Ensure all HVAC/R systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with resort standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Provide hands-on support for complex diagnostics, repairs, and system installations
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and refrigeration systems across the resort
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings
  • Coordinate with other Engineering leadership to support large-scale and capital improvement projects
  • Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts, and equipment inventory
  • Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, compliance records, and work orders
  • Serve as the point of contact for HVAC-related emergencies or escalated system issues
  • Support team development through technical guidance, training, and accountability

Required Skills and Certifications:
  • HVAC/R experience
  • EPA refrigerant handling certification
  • Valid driver's license
