This intelligence is gathered directly from human sources through interviews, interrogations, or cultivating informants. HUMINT contractors can work domestically or internationally, supporting national security, military operations, or law enforcement efforts. They typically have backgrounds in intelligence, military, or law enforcement, and may perform tasks ranging from field operations to analysis and reporting.

These abilities are vital for obtaining reliable human intelligence and supporting national security objectives in complex environments.
