Job description

Job Summary: Sr. Business Analyst
- Position Title: Sr. Business Analyst
- Location: 100% Telecommute (WV0409)
- Work Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Project: Enhancement work for the WV PATH Family Assistance module, specifically related to House Resolution 1 (H.R.1) bill
- Team Structure: 1 Project Manager, 4-5 Developers, 1 Release Manager, 1-2 Business Analysts
Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit, review, analyze, and write functional and non-functional business requirements
- Perform and lead requirements gathering and validation sessions
- Manage project controls, including issues, risks, requirements, scope, and schedules
- Maintain visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams
- Ensure regular engagement and facetime with key executive stakeholders
- Participate in SDLC processes and government RFP/SOW activities
- Partner with internal and client stakeholders to align strategy, integration, and deliverables
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation
- 3+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry, specifically with Health and Human Services (HHS), SNAP, and Medicaid
- 1+ years managing project controls (issues, risks, requirements, scope, schedules)
- Experience in SDLC and government RFP/SOW processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- In-depth experience with HHS, SNAP, and Medicaid projects
- Demonstrated leadership in requirements gathering and validation
- Advanced skills in writing and analyzing business requirements
Licenses/Certifications:
- No professional license or certification required
Interview Process:
- Two video interview rounds
- Not highly technical
Standout Qualifications:
- Deep experience in healthcare-related business analysis, especially with SNAP/Medicaid
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Proven history of working on government programs or initiatives
