**$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)**


Position: Life Skills Support Professional 1 – Full Time

Location: Springfield, MA

Rate of Pay: $22.00 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Summary:

  • Work directly with and alongside adults with disabilities and developmental delays on social and communication skills, activities of daily living, and building esteem. Organize, coordinate, implement, and structure activity units to provide such opportunities for program members. Assist with personal care and participation in community activities. Provide support and training to members in accordance with ISP goals and objectives. Individuals with direct care, residential care, human services, day program, and DDS experience strongly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications:

  • High School/Hi-SET required with at least one year of human service experience, or associate's degree in related field and 0-1 year of experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills with a minimum knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Must have a valid MA driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of a vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal and/or agency vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift and transfer members up to 150 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
