Job description

Adult Residential Support Professional โ€“ 3rd Shiftย 

Location: Grandstone/Eastwood โ€“ Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan

Staff are assigned a primary home base but may provide coverage at both Grandstone and Eastwood as needed. The two facilities are located just eight minutes apart.

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | 10:00 PMโ€“6:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $19.75 per hour
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is seeking compassionate and dependable Adult Residential Support Professionals to join our team at Grandstone/Eastwood.

Grandstone and Eastwood are two 8-bed Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) that provide 24-hour support to adults experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Our programs offer a safe, recovery-focused, home-like environment where residents can build life skills, increase independence, and work toward achieving their personal recovery goals.

As an Adult Residential Support Professional, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents while providing encouragement, supervision, and compassionate support throughout their recovery journey. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help create a structured, welcoming environment where individuals can thrive and make lasting progress.

What You'll Do
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with residents.
  • Provide supervision, encouragement, and positive role modeling.
  • Assist residents with daily living skills while promoting independence.
  • De-escalate crisis situations using trauma-informed, non-restrictive techniques.
  • Monitor and/or administer medications in accordance with program policies.
  • Facilitate recovery-focused groups, educational programming, and recreational activities.
  • Transport residents to appointments, community resources, and other approved activities.
  • Document resident progress and maintain accurate, timely records.
  • Perform household responsibilities, including light housekeeping and grocery shopping.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and community partners to provide quality, person-centered care.
  • Maintain professional boundaries while fostering a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
