Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking an Office Assistant to support our Human Resources team.
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support to the company including answering phone lines, scheduling/managing calendars, coordinating meeting arrangements and company events, creating presentations and correspondence, and providing administrative support to the Executive leadership and HR department. Must be resourceful, highly organized with a pleasant demeanor and customer service attitude.
Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day facilities operations including supervising the maintenance, repair and housekeeping of office areas and equipment; purchasing office supplies, furniture, office equipment, food etc. for the entire staff.
  • Provides administrative support for corporate recruiting, including scheduling interviews, and candidate travel arrangements.
  • Support benefits administration for employees.
  • Perform administrative work such as greeting visitors and managing sign-in process, accepting deliveries, and assisting with the preparation of correspondence to client.
  • Assists with special events planning and execution.
  • Assist other staff as necessary.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be efficient with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner.
