Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail oriented individual who will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources functions at ComPsych. This individual will be responsible for the administration support for the HR department at large. This position reports to the Human Resources Analytics Manager.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with employee communications and maintaining HRIS Connections Hub page and various other platforms and our company initiatives
  • Assist in coordinating and managing employee events including ComPsych Communities
  • Manage employee anniversary award program
  • Assist in managing internal leave of absence program for employees including tracking leave of absences and communication
  • Assist with employee onboarding in the HRIS as well as tracking spreadsheets
  • Create and distribute reports out of the HR systems
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and legal, employee files, and records
  • Assist with audits to identify and correct errors, missing information, and inconsistencies as needed
  • Complete and follow up on new hire check-in's
  • Support learning and development logistics including session scheduling, enrollment and completion tracking
  • Collect and scan mail to appropriate points of contact
  • Partner with other HR colleagues to continuously improve the department's overall processes, practices and effectiveness, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws
  • Other projects and/or duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative HR role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Incredible attention to detail, prioritization, and organization skills
  • Self-starter who is willing to take initiative
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication
  • Experience with leave of absence preferred

Other Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption, or noise is required
  • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer
  • Must be located in Chicago and/or able to commute to ComPsych's downtown headquarters during the week

  • The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $56,000 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
