Why We Need You

Are you passionate about making a real impact in the workplace? We’re looking for an HR Assistant to support our non-exempt and union employees, with a primary focus on recruitment, onboarding and retention. Reporting directly to our on-site HR Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner and resource for our team—helping us build a positive, productive, and people-focused culture! The length of this position is anticipated to last three (3) months.

A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:

  • Maintain and organize employee records, ensuring compliance every step of the way.
  • Assist with the process of recruiting top talent for our manufacturing teams including vetting candidates, scheduling, and assist-ing with interviews
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation
  • Enter employee data into software platforms and spreadsheet management
  • Other tasks or projects as needed

What You Need to Be Good At | Competencies and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and computer skills (Word, Excel) necessary
  • Commitment and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Detail Oriented
  • HR experience (manufacturing, especially food processing/packaging, is a big plus!).
