Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for CT Technologist, CT Technologist Trainees* who perform CT Exams. Technologists administer intravenous and oral contrast and observe patients for signs or symptoms of adverse reactions; complete all necessary paperwork; provide quality customer service and practice safety standards and radiation protection, while providing high quality images and examinations in a fast paced trauma center as part of a team of physicians and registered nurses.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.
Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
On-call Schedule: Incumbents scheduled to be on-call must be able to arrive to the hospital within 1 hour after receiving a call. Incumbents must indicate a willingness to accept and be able to arrive within 1 hour for assignments. Please refer to the MOU for additional details and compensation (Page 117).
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must possess all of the following:
Certification:
  • Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Venipuncture Certification for contrast media

Registration:
  • Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and inComputerized Tomography (CT)

Experience:
  • Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist Trainee:No experience Required
  • CT Technologist:One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist -OR- Six (6) months of supervised Computerized Tomography (CT) clinical experience

Desired Qualifications
Candidates with experience performing CT scans in a trauma center are highly desired.
