This position is 100% on-site, 5 days per week at Capitol Lakes. Capitol Lakes is proud to be Madison’s premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community. Located in the heart of downtown, our residents enjoy the energy of a vibrant college town along with exceptional dining and a full continuum of care including Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our leadership team and support a dedicated workforce of approximately 200 employees. This is an opportunity to help shape workplace culture, support leaders, and strengthen the employee experience in a mission-driven community where your work makes a meaningful impact every day.

Salary Range

$113,600 – $135,000 annually, depending on experience.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Preferred
  • SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP / SPHR / PHR certification
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or service-based organizations
  • Experience supporting organizations of similar size
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office
