 OverviewThe HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role ensures the efficient delivery of HR services, compliance with policies and regulations, and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. The HR Operations Manager acts as a strategic partner to HR leadership and collaborates across departments to support organizational goals.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days in the office each month based on business needs. Job Functions
  • Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Lead system upgrades, implementations and integrations
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making
  • Lead the day-to-day payroll activities and provide senior-level support to the payroll processing team
  • Act as quality assurance by providing the final validation of payroll processing
  • Considered the subject matter expert for payroll and time
  • Develop, document and improve HR processes and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
  • Support internal audits and manage risk mitigation strategies
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding and employee records management
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to streamline hiring and transition processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations)
  • Support relationships with HR vendors (e.g., background checks, benefits administration)
  • Support benefits and payroll operations in collaboration with Finance and external providers
  • Supervise HR Advisors and Specialists as applicable
  • Provide training and guidance on HR systems and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives
