Job Summary

Belden Inc. is seeking a Sr. HR Manager, US Operations for our Broadband business, who will be responsible for executing HR strategy. This is an onsite role based in Syracuse, NY and will support all Belden Broadband manufacturing facilities in the US. Other locations include Rochester, NY, Putnam, CT, Shawnee, KS, and Anniston, AL. The Sr. HR Manager will support operations leaders teams and various groups across all facilities.

In this role, you will partner closely with plant leadership and key stakeholders across the different locations, to develop and implement HR strategies, provide guidance in areas such as talent management and development, leadership coaching, performance management, and employee engagement. The Sr. HR Manager will act as both a strategic and tactical business partner to the operations leadership team.

What you will do

  •  Provide leadership and directly manage other HR team members, provide active development to the team.
  • Drive talent acquisition activities to include building a talent pipeline, sourcing and interviewing candidates, onboarding new hires.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to management and employees. Address and manage escalated employee relations issues and lead investigations as needed.
  • Partner with plant leadership to improve work relationships, build morale, support employee development, and increase retention.
  • Provide performance management support to operations leaders, including coaching managers on effective feedback and development conversations.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of state and federal legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, ensuring regulatory compliance.

What you will bring

  •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
  • Five (5) years of relevant human resources experience with two (2) in a leadership role
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including organizational development, performance management, talent acquisition strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of employee groups in a diverse community, fostering an inclusive culture.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400- $135,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.  This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
