Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator with moderate experience working in a manufacturing environment to assist with administrative tasks and services, supporting the operations of the Human Resources function including assisting manufacturing colleagues with inquiries regarding general HR policies and programs. Must be willing to work onsite.

Key Responsibilities - Onsite, Mon-Friday

  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and colleagues relative to standard policies, benefits and hiring processes.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records. Enters and updates colleague employment and status-change data as needed.
  • Assists with new hire orientations and planning/executing special events such as company trainings, colleague recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Assists senior HRCs at large facilities.
  • Follows guidance from senior level HRC's and may assist more junior level HRC's with basic or routine questions.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Assists with the process of terminations.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process, e.g. annual cycle tasks, performance documentation, etc.
  • Assists with submitting online investigation requests and assisting with new colleague background checks and onboarding.
  • Generates ad-hoc reports as requested and performing other related duties as assigned.
  • Supports colleagues in the benefit open enrollment process.
  • Provides feedback to senior HRC's on process improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

  • Typically possesses high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2-3 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software and various ERP Systems.
  • Proficient knowledge of essential office equipment
  • Proficient understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Good attention to detail.

The pay range for this position is $22.40 - $38.17. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $28.00 to $32.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
