HR Generalist, Juneau Plant

We are looking for dynamic HR Generalist to join our team.  Are you ready to be the go-to HR person for a fast-paced, high growth manufacturing facility? Are you able to build rapport quickly and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers across all levels?  Do you have a bias toward action with a focus on getting things done and making things happen? Are you a problem-solver with the ability to develop and execute practical solutions? Bring your hands-on approach, high level of employee engagement and ability to monitor the "pulse" of the organization to Sensient Flavors. Join the team with great taste in this full-time office-based position at our Juneau, WI site.

What you'll do:

  • Provide end-to-end HR support across employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and benefits. 
  • Serve as the primary HR contact, advising leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters. 
  • Manage employee relations issues for union and non-union employees while ensuring compliance with labor laws and corporate directives. 
  • Lead recruitment activities, including approvals, job profile management, candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination with recruiters and agencies. 
  • Oversee HR and payroll transactions (hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes) while maintaining data accuracy and integrity. 
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, performance management cycles, change initiatives, employee engagement programs, and HR projects. 
  • Prepare HR reports, facilitate employee roundtables, and drive implementation of corporate HR strategies, policies, and process improvements.

What you'll bring:

  • HRIS experience: Oracle Cloud or similar HCM/HRIS/ATS systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, with strong Excel reporting skills required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, preferably in Human Resources or a Business- related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
  • HR generalist experience of the full HR/employee lifecycle in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required, experience working with unions a plus.
  • Recruitment experience: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, preparing offers and coaching hiring managers
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully and independently managing employee relation issues.
