The Human Resources Manager serves as a leadership partner with accountability for people, performance and organizational improvement. The Manager deploys HR processes, policies, and practices that align with the goals of the business as well as the performance management process, while achieving employment alignment and engagement. They function as a change agent, reviewing and challenging the culture and capability of the business and also identify risks and non-compliance and address these issues with ethics and integrity.
Key Focus Areas
  • Develop and implement recruiting and staffing plans to ensure improved selection, diversity, and retention outcomes
  • Facilitate and provide support for performance management and change management
  • Develop, recommend, and deploy Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Counsel and coach supervisors and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and all aspects of employment law
  • Perform benefit administration and counselling
  • Administer salary and incentive plans
  • Build organization capability by providing training and support for employees and managers, including career and professional development
  • Develop and administer effective plans, which drive alignment with Our Bond, and target employee engagement, communication, and recognition
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Other duties as assigned

Foundational Experience
Required Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 7 years of Human Resources Management experience
  • Knowledge of application of employment laws
  • Experience in leading recruiting and staffing efforts for professional and production positions
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of compensation practices and experience in salary and incentive plan administration
  • Background administering employee health and welfare plans, and the ability to counsel employees relative to benefit issues
  • Practiced in the application of performance management and career/professional development strategies and processes
  • Experience planning, facilitating, and conducting training

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some or all of the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration with concentration in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience facilitating investigations, grievances, arbitration, and collective bargaining agreement negotiations
