The Wilderness Resort is seeking hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, customer service driven individuals to join our fast-paced team! Employees have access to great benefits, amenity usage, and so much more!

The Human Resources Admin Assistant position is responsible for providing administrative and technical assistance for the Human Resources Department in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assists in coordinating policies and programs concerning employment, training and development, organization development, employee relations, compensation management, employee benefits, safety and health, and employee services by performing the following duties. 

This is a full-time position with day, night and weekend availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Act as technical resource for employees and administrative employees to address and resolve inquiries and problems relating to the human resources function. 
  • Assist in collecting all forms and documentation for weekly scheduled orientations and help run orientation when needed.
  • Compose and prepare letters, memos, correspondence, etc. using word processing software.
  • Direct the interpretation and application of established human resources policies and procedures throughout the organization to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees. 
  • Organize, maintain, process and update accurately all employee records and files weekly.
  • Answer and file all incoming employment verification requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the uniform closet is always stocked and organized, assist in reordering of stock when necessary.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls, taking messages and directing calls to the correct person or department.
  • Assist others in the department with keeping all spreadsheets and word documents up to date with the latest information.
  • Prepare and ensure stock for new hire folders for both hourly and student employees.
  • Coordinate with managers from departments throughout resort when extra hours are available to employees and create and track a signup sheet of all shifts and hours available.
  • Navigate through Dayforce program and assist employees with ensuring their hours worked are correct in system.
  • Responsible for keeping all front of house forms up to date and stocked for employee use.
  • Order and track inventory needs for day-to-day office function.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
