Position: HR Generalist

Plantation, FL

Pay Rate: $30-34 Hourly

Looking to HIRE RIGHT AWAY!!


Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of HR Coordinator or HR Generalist experience
  • Handling all Admin work for the HR Team (ie: New Hire Onboarding, Welcome emails, coordinating training for New Hires, Onboarding Paperwork Including I-9's)
  • Experience supporting HR Business Partners/ Sr. HR Managers
  • Strong experience with the MS Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills & Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Handling background check initiations, reaching out to candidates to take drug screens, and uploading medical documents for new hires + I-9 & E-Verify experience
  • Strong experience with Onboarding Paperwork & running Background Checks – Following up with candidates
  • Have experience with the HR processes including: onboarding, employee data, and timekeeping
  • Helping to schedule interview times for Managers and candidates, when needed


Day to Day:

As a HR generalist, you will function as a Sr. Admin of the HR Business Partner and Sr. HR Manager — You will be handling candidate new hire onboarding and paperwork including I-9's, welcome emails, coordinating training for new hires and other HR administrative duties. You will be working closely with the HR Management Team on a daily basis. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Sending out new hire letters
  • Ensuring that all paperwork is filled out and submitted for data entry
  • Create user ids for all employees so they can access DHL systems
  • Work with payroll to ensure W4s, direct deposit information is entered for new hires
  • Employment verifications
  • Payroll file submissions for bonuses, incentive plans
  • Payroll file submissions for one-off payments
  • Requesting checks for terminated employees from immediate pay states, for example, CA, AZ.
  • Timekeeping issues – work with supervisors and managers to correct errors then work with payroll to correct pay
  • Work with HR Business partners when rate increases are submitted, if late, to ensure that retro pay is processed
  • Questions form former employees, for example, where is my W2, or my pay is missing
  • Employee updates submitted by HR Business Partners and managers, review then submit for data entry
