Position Summary

CC3 is seeking a highly trustworthy, detail-oriented, and people-centered HR & Payroll Manager to serve as the primary ambassador between employees and the organization. This role is a critical blend of human resources administration, payroll execution, employee support, and office engagement.

The right candidate will be entrusted with confidential compensation and personnel information and expected to handle that responsibility with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment. This person will own the day-to-day execution of payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, off boarding, employee documentation, and routine employee support, while also helping foster a positive and engaged office environment.


In addition to core HR and payroll responsibilities, this role will serve as a key office ambassador by coordinating team events, maintaining the corporate calendar, and helping support employee morale and engagement across the company. This person will also assist with certain light bookkeeping and administrative finance processes in close partnership with the Corporate Controller and CFO.


Key Responsibilities



Payroll Administration

  • Own accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees
  • Review employee changes, compensation updates, deductions, garnishments, benefits elections, reimbursements, and payroll inputs for completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation with a high standard of confidentiality
  • Coordinate with internal leadership and external payroll partners to resolve discrepancies and ensure payroll compliance
  • Support reporting tied to payroll, benefits, deductions, and employee status changes

Benefits and HR Administration

  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee questions
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for employees regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and general HR support
  • Maintain personnel files, HR records, and documentation in an organized and compliant manner
  • Coordinate employee communications related to benefits, policy acknowledgments, deadlines, and required forms
  • Support the administration of leave requests, employee status changes, and other routine HR processes

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Own the employee onboarding and offboarding process from offer acceptance through separation
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork, payroll forms, benefit forms, orientation materials, and employee file setup
  • Help ensure completion of required employment documentation, acknowledgments, and system access coordination
  • Manage offboarding documentation, final process steps, and cross-functional handoffs with payroll, IT, and leadership
  • Create a welcoming, organized, and professional employee transition experience

Employee Support and Office Ambassador Responsibilities

  • Act as an approachable and professional bridge between employees and the organization
  • Help reinforce a respectful, communicative, and well-supported workplace environment
  • Coordinate office morale initiatives, team events, celebrations, and employee engagement activities
  • Maintain and help organize the corporate calendar, internal events, and key people-related milestones
  • Support day-to-day office coordination and help create a workplace experience that reflects CC3’s culture and standards

Compliance, Confidentiality, and Process Discipline

  • Handle confidential compensation, payroll, benefits, and personnel information with discretion and maturity
  • Support policy distribution, employee acknowledgments, and process tracking
  • Escalate sensitive employee matters appropriately while handling routine HR administration independently
  • Help ensure HR and payroll processes are documented, repeatable, timely, and audit-ready
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen consistency, communication, and employee process execution

Cross-Functional Finance and Administrative Support

  • Provide light bookkeeping and administrative support as needed in coordination with the Corporate Controller and CFO
  • Assist with reconciliations, reporting support, employee-related financial documentation, or other administrative tasks tied to payroll and people operations
  • Help ensure strong handoff and alignment between HR, payroll, and finance workflows


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR administration, payroll, people operations, office management, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, employee records management, and HR process discipline
  • Experience with onboarding, offboarding, and employee support in a growing business environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage sensitive details accurately and consistently
  • Comfortable balancing employee-facing responsibilities with administrative precision
  • Experience supporting office events, engagement, and internal coordination preferred
  • Exposure to bookkeeping, reconciliations, or finance-adjacent support work is a plus
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and related systems required
