A Day In The LifeThe Director, Finance Transformation leads a dedicated team structured to reimagine the Finance function for a digital, data driven future. Under the leadership of the Director, Finance Transformation, this team will support and enable both the strategic development and hands-on execution of the finance transformation agenda focused on the office of the TFG Chief Financial Officer and spanning functions across Corporate Accounting and Shared Services (AP/AR/Payroll), Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury and Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, with growth potential to expand service offering and operating model to operating business units on an opportunity basis driven by proven value creation. This role will be supported by a Finance Transformation Steering Committee dedicated to ensuring successful execution of the finance transformation agenda and will partner closely with key business partners and leaders across the TFG Finance function, the TFG Chief Data and Analytics Office, the TFG Chief Information Office, and Sr. Leadership within TFG Human Resources. The Director must be technology agnostic and platform fluent - able to work with and across any technology stack - and bring a citizen coder / grassroots digital mindset that empowers Finance professionals to self-serve, build, and innovate independently. This leader moves with urgency, thinks in systems, builds trust across all levels of the organization, and knows how to find and communicate quick wins while keeping the long-term aspirations in full view.

As a Dir, Finance Transform you will:

  • Financial Transformation Strategy & Roadmap In close partnership with TFG Finance leadership and teams, serve as strategic leader to develop Finance Transformation Strategy & Roadmap. Responsibilities include:
  • Architect a phased, multi-horizon transformation roadmap with clearly defined near-term quick wins, mid-term capability builds, and long-term enterprise transformation milestones.
  • Establish a rigorous use-case identification and prioritization framework (impact / effort / value) to systematically surface high-, medium-, and low-impact opportunities across the Center and, in time, across TFG's Verticals.
  • Build ROI-backed transformation business cases, leveraging automation opportunity assessments, task mining, and process mining methodologies to identify and quantify improvement opportunities across Finance end-to-end processes.
  • Define, track, and communicate transformation KPIs and scorecards that demonstrate measurable business value to the CFO, SVP Finance Strategy & Transformation, and CAO.
  • Maintain and evolve the transformation roadmap dynamically as organizational priorities shift, new technologies emerge, and early wins inform next-phase planning.
  • Facilitate executive alignment sessions, steering committee governance, and Board-level transformation reporting with the CFO, SVP Finance Strategy & Transformation, CIO, and CDAO.
  • Technology, Data & Digital Strategy Enablement In close partnership with the Director, Enterprise Financial Solutions, CIO, CDAO, and TFG Finance leadership, serve as Finance's strategic voice on technology and data decisions. This leader is platform and technology agnostic - TFG's current ecosystem includes D365 (Financial ERP), OneStream (CPM/Planning), Databricks (primary analytics), Power BI / Power Apps, Metric Insights, Copilot, Claude, and Chat GPT - but the role demands curiosity and fluency across any stack, not loyalty to any single vendor. Responsibilities include:
  • Champion the evaluation, adoption, and governance of modern digital capabilities - intelligent automation, AI/ML, generative AI, advanced analytics, visualization tools, and emerging cloud-native platforms - with a bias toward tools that empower Finance professionals to self-serve and build.
  • Bring clarity and structure to TFG's Finance technology landscape - mapping the current state across ERP, CPM, analytics, BI, automation, and AI platforms - and translate that inventory into a coherent, future-state technology and data strategy for Finance.
  • Establish AI governance frameworks for Finance, ensuring responsible, transparent, and compliant use of AI and automation across Finance functions and use cases.
  • Govern and scale a citizen developer / citizen data scientist program within Finance - establishing frameworks, guardrails, and enablement programs that empower Finance professionals to build their own tools, automate their own workflows, and leverage analytics without IT dependency.
  • Talent & Organization Strategy In partnership with TFG HR and Data & Analytics leadership, define and execute a forward-looking talent and organizational strategy that positions TFG Finance for a digitally-enabled, data driven future. Responsibilities include:
  • Work with Finance leadership teams to design the Finance digital organization of the future - articulating new and evolving roles, accountabilities, and the target operating model that aligns talent architecture to the transformation strategy.
  • Work with Finance leadership teams to develop detailed talent profiles and personas for Finance transformation roles - creating clear, specific descriptions of future-state capabilities, mindsets, and skills that support individual associate engagement, targeted development, and forward hiring.
  • Define and lead a comprehensive and intentional training program for the Finance organization, building capabilities in data literacy, digital tools, AI fluency, analytics, and agile ways of working at every level of the function.
  • Champion a citizen coder / citizen developer culture within Finance - fostering a grassroots mindset where Finance professionals proactively leverage technology to solve their own problems, automate repetitive work, and generate insights independently.
  • Build bottom-up change management strategies that promote organizational readiness, adoption of new ways of working, and cultural alignment with the transformation agenda - creating momentum through empowerment, not just top-down mandate.
  • Team Leadership & High-Performance Culture Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing Finance Transformation team, creating a culture of intellectual curiosity, bold thinking, and disciplined execution. Responsibilities include:
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and meaningful development for the Sr. Manager, Manager, and Analyst on the Finance Transformation team.
  • Foster a team culture that celebrates bold ideas, rewards initiative, embraces experimentation, and holds itself to the highest standards of execution rigor and stakeholder partnership.
  • Set clear performance expectations and individual growth plans; conduct regular, candid feedback conversations that accelerate development.
  • Model the citizen coder / digital pioneer mindset - willing to roll up sleeves, prototype ideas, and demonstrate digital possibilities firsthand alongside the team.
  • Mentor team members on executive presence, structured problem-solving, and effective stakeholder influence - building the next generation of TFG Finance transformation leaders.
