The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating organizational priorities into people strategies that drive performance, retention, and growth. This role partners with managers at all levels to navigate complex employee relations matters, build workforce capability, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The HRBP acts as a consultative resource on talent management, organizational design, compensation guidance, and change management, balancing business needs with employee advocacy.

Your role in our team

  • You will partner with business leaders to understand and execute the organization' s talent strategy, as it relates to current and future needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning
  • You will partner with business leaders to shape workforce strategies that drive operational performance and organizational growth
  • You will advise managers on employee relations matters including performance concerns, corrective actions, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution, coaching them to address issues proactively
  • You will drive talent management and performance management processes, equipping managers with the tools and frameworks to develop, retain, and engage their teams
  • You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, proactively identifying risk areas and recommending policy updates
  • You will assess training, coaching, and development needs across departments and recommend solutions to address skill gaps
  • You will contribute to workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning to help ensure the business has the talent pipeline to meet current and future needs can we add this to the top and make one single statement
  • You will support organizational change initiatives by managing stakeholder engagement and guiding leaders through transitions, partnering with leadership on communication strategies
  • You will leverage HR analytics and workforce data to inform business decisions, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • You will interpret and operationalize company policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application and providing guidance to managers on implementation
  • You will coordinate across HR Centers of Excellence including Payroll, Employee Services, and Recruiting to deliver cohesive, business-aligned HR solutions
  • You will lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects and initiatives as identified
  • You will perform other duties as assigned
  • You will build learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees at all levels of the organization
  • You will support recruitment process which include interviewing and ensuring hiring of qualified job applicants particularly for managerial, exempt and professional roles.
  • Maintains in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day to day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

Your profile

  • You are proficient with HRIS platforms and HR datareporting tools (SuccessFactors or Workday experience required)
  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • You have a strong working knowledge of federal contractor compliance requirements
  • You have strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • You have working knowledge of multistate employment laws and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions
  • You are able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fastpaced environment with competing deadlines
  • You are a selfstarter with strong initiative, able to proactively identify needs and drive actions to completion
  • You demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a solutionsfocused mindset
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present HR information to diverse audiences
  • You have strong consultative and coaching skills, with the ability to influence leaders and guide managers through complex people decisions
  • You have a highly collaborative style with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • You have the ability to build trusted advisory relationships with managers and employees at all levels
  • You are skilled in conflict resolution and mediation, with the ability to navigate sensitive workplace situations objectively
  • You are able to travel domestically up to 25% for business meetings, site visits, and HR program delivery
  • You are bilingual in English and Spanish (Highly preferred)

Education and Experience Qualification

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience as a business partner, with at least 2 years of experience in employee relations and 3 years of experience in Employee Engagement and recruitment
  • 2 years of experience working in a shared services or center of excellence HR model
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or relevant HR certification (Preferred)
  • Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment (Preferred)

Additional Requirements 

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required by business needs.
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, all required travel documentation, including a valid passport where international travel is necessary.
  • Must be able to lawfully enter and exit the United States and other countries required for business travel.
  • Must not have any legal or regulatory restrictions that would prevent the issuance, renewal, or use of required travel documents, or otherwise limit the ability to fulfill the travel requirements of the role.

Physical Demands Summary

  • This role is primarily performed in an office environment and requires frequent sitting, walking, and repetitive finger and wrist movements consistent with regular computer use. Occasional standing, light lifting up to 10 lbs, climbing stairs, bending, and reaching may also be necessary.
