Performance Analyst starting August 2027
At AlixPartners, we solve the most complex and critical challenges by moving quickly from analysis to action when it really matters; creating value that has a lasting impact on companies, their people, and the communities they serve. By understanding, respecting, and honoring the needs of our employees, clients, and communities, AlixPartners actively promotes an inclusive environment. We strongly believe in the value that diversity brings to our experiences and are committed to the perpetual enhancements of initiatives, policies, and practices. We hold ourselves accountable by providing the space for authenticity, growth, and equity for everyone.
AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees' work-life integration. Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working. Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.
What you'll do
AlixPartners, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking Analysts to support our Growth, Manufacturing & Operations, Organizational Transformation, and Sourcing & Procurement Transformation practices. We work with clients on high-impact, high-stakes challenges-often at the center of executive and board-level agendas. In this role, you will work across industries and business functions to help clients achieve measurable results in complex situations.
This role is located in Chicago, Illinois.
In this role, you will:
  • Structure and execute analyses to address complex and ambiguous client challenges, working closely with VPs and SVPs on active engagements
  • Build and maintain financial and operational models, and prepare client-ready presentations and deliverables
  • Translate analysis into actionable recommendations and implementation plans that drive measurable business impact
  • Collaborate with engagement teams and client stakeholders to identify value creation opportunities and support execution
  • Conduct research utilizing AlixPartners' proprietary tools along with external tools and databases including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Statista, and Euromonitor, to generate insights
  • Develop data-driven outputs using visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively and present results in a compelling manner
  • Support practice development activities, including marketing materials, pitch development, and account management initiatives

As part of our collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to achieve extraordinary results in our fast-paced environment. Your performance and ambition will drive your professional development, and outstanding results are recognized both by increased roles on the team and in our advantaged compensation system.
On your application, please select one practice area option that best aligns with your interests. Your selection does not impact your candidacy and may be revisited later in the interview process.
  • Growth: Help companies unlock their next wave of revenue through customer strategy, pricing, sales optimization, and marketing. Use analytics, creativity, and business insight to drive measurable growth.
  • Manufacturing and Operations: Drive performance where products are made and delivered. Work on improving how companies produce, scale, and operate across their supply chains.
  • Organizational Transformation: Support organizations in redesigning structures, improving performance, and implementing change. Work with leadership teams to drive operational and cultural transformation.
  • Sourcing and Procurement Transformation: Unlock value through smarter spending and supplier strategy. Help companies optimize how they source and manage billions in goods and services.
  • Undecided: Still exploring our practices? You may select "Undecided."
