The Strategic Non-Kinetic Effects Mission Division is seeking a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst with deep, cross-disciplinary expertise in networking, intelligence, and cybersecurity to design and deliver mission-critical solutions to the nation's most complex challenges. Roles & Responsibilities: The Department is currently seeking a senior-career cybersecurity professional to contribute individual technical expertise and support to a complex work program in support of critical national security objectives Responsibilities include: * Evaluating existing methodologies and developing recommendations for improved processes, tools, analytics, and infrastructure
* Identifying and leveraging capabilities from across MITRE that enable the sponsor to measurably increase mission impact
* Supporting intelligence collection operations by partnering closely with Sponsor leaders to apply human and technological capabilities that enable successful operational/mission outcomes
* Conveying technical, analytic, and organizational findings, recommendations, and approaches to senior decision makers and mission partners.
Basic Qualifications: * Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
* Ability to work with others to solve challenging technical problems.
* Ability to think critically, work in group settings, and be proactive in pursuing research and problem solving.
* Experience with analyzing raw threat intelligence from one or more collection disciplines (ex. SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, etc.) in support of operations and/or analysis.
* Deep understanding of computer networks and the OSI model, spanning hardware, software, and networking components, including how data flows and is secured across all layers.
* Experience with C5ISR-T analysis. Requires current, expert-level knowledge of C4 architectures relevant to adversary analysis.
* Analytical experience related to technical subjects including telecommunications and network engineering.
* Experience in all-source intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability analysis, network reverse engineering and network reconnaissance.
* Familiarity with intelligence community organizational and governance structures, and/or requirements processes.
* Experience with intelligence community analytic and requirements tools.
* Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level security clearance with polygraph. * Per the U.S. Government's eligibility requirements for a clearance, U.S. Citizenship is required .
* This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site. Preferred Qualifications: * Intelligence community acquisition, planning, programming, budgeting and execution experience.
* Familiarity with the intent, capability and operations of top tier nation-station adversary threat groups targeting operational technology in critical infrastructure, space, or weapon systems. This requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):
