Note: Shift Hours- work week is 11pm Sunday to 7am Friday. Can start with cleared DT while BG is running. Steel Toe Shoes Required. Must bring 1st day instruction when reporting. Top Required Skills:
- Operating small finishing and machine-driven equipment
- Quality inspection and product accuracy
- Basic math, counting, and computer skills
Must-Have Skills:
- Ability to operate small finishing machines and automated equipment
- Ability to perform hand stripping and general table work
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, job tickets, and safety instructions
- Basic math skills including counting, measuring, and arithmetic
- Basic computer skills for printing carton labels
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately (color vision and hue testing required)
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience training new employees
- Experience performing minor machine maintenance
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with machine-driven processes (e.g., card wrapper, pixie strippers)
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Operate small finishing machines and machine-driven production processes
- Perform hand stripping, table work, loading, unloading, and packing of products
- Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure product accuracy and standards
- Read and follow SOPs, job tickets, and production instructions
- Count and inspect products to ensure accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform minor maintenance on finishing machines and assist with training new employees as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and documents
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to pass color vision and color hue tests
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, including during busy periods
- Ability to meet physical demands and maintain good attendance
