This is an exciting job opportunity for you as an Embedded Linux Engineer in Menlo Park, California, with Signify, the world leader in lighting.

Join our Philips Hue multidisciplinary engineering team responsiblefordevelopingand continuously improving our uniquePhilips Hue lighting and security system.This role will focus on developing Embedded Software for our Hue secure cameras and Hue Bridge.

  • Platform and Application Development:Collaborate with the embedded team to expand platform and application offerings for our customers.

  • Feature Preparation:Collaborate with team members to design thearchitecture and infrastructure forfeatures that connect embedded, cloud, and mobile components.

  • Quality Assurance Collaboration:Partner with the QA team to ensure product quality and reliability through rigorous testing and verification.

  • Continuous improvement:Efficiently identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects to maintain optimal system performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline

  • Experience in Python, C, C++, or similar languages

  • Knowledge on API and network communication technologies including MQTT

  • Effective communicator and team player, with acan-do mentality to realize thebest Smart Home product experiences

  • Salary:$88,102 - 129,217 based on experience

  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 5%
