Job Overview

This role serves as the technology product owner for HR Operations and Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, with accountability for product strategy, roadmap delivery, and operational excellence across HR applications. The Sr. Manager partners closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure HR systems enable scalable, compliant, and efficient workforce operations. This is a highimpact role supporting enterprise transformation, continuous improvement, and the evolution of HR technology capabilities during a period of significant organizational changeand reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for HR Operations and HCM applications, ensuring alignment with business priorities and HR strategy.

  • Partner with HR leaders and COEs to translate business needs into technology solutions, system enhancements, and prioritized backlogs.

  • Lead crossfunctional delivery teams (IT, HR, vendors) to plan, execute, and deploy HR technology initiatives on time and within scope.

  • Ensure operational stability, data integrity, security, and compliance of HR applications across the employee lifecycle.

  • Oversee vendor relationships and managed services, including performance, contracts, and service level agreements.

  • Drive process optimization and automation to improve employee and manager experience while reducing manual effort.

  • Use metrics and insights tomonitorsystem performance, adoption, and value realization, enabling datadriven decisions.

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Human Resources, ora related field.

  • Preferred: Master's degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent).

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT, enterprise applications, or HR technology, withdemonstratedownership of complex systems or products.

  • Proven experience serving as a product owner or technology lead for HCM and HR Operations platforms (e.g., core HR, employee data, manager/employee selfservice).

  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle and how technology enables them.

  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, budgets, and delivery timelines.

  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical outcomes.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting global or multiregional HR systems in a regulated environment.

  • Background in enterprise transformation, system implementations, or HR technology modernization.

  • Familiarity with Agile / productbased delivery models.

  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations.
