Position Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator provides professional support in implementing Human Resources strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with the University's mission and strategic goals. The position supports a broad range of human resources functions including employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, payroll support, leave administration, training and development, wellness, safety, HRIS administration, onboarding and offboarding, employee records management, and compliance. The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a resource to employees and supervisors, promotes positive employee relations, maintains confidential employee information, and contributes to an efficient, customer-focused Human Resources department.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.

Experience:

  • One to three years of professional experience in human resources.

Licenses / Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license

Work-Related Knowledge:

  • Understanding and familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP would be helpful), payroll processes, and Microsoft Office.
  • Independent judgment and discretion are required to resolve non-routine matters.
Salary: $48,000 - $52,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
