Job description

Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a SCPFO Service Center Rep for an onsite position in Columbus, OH.
  • Provides operational procurement services to business partners in the Purchasing (Services) group.
  • Reviews purchase requests, determines proper method for fulfilling the request, and completes the purchasing activity for basic and medium-complexity requests on behalf of business partners.
  • Reassigns complex and/or higher-value purchase requests as appropriate.
  • Delivers medium-complexity procurement issue resolution services to Supply Chain operations staff, business partners, and suppliers.
  • Provides support in the Issue Resolution group by receiving, documenting, and resolving inquiries, issues, and requests from direct access, by phone, and by e-mail.
  • Refers complex issues to higher tier group member for assistance and/or resolution.
  • Supports tracking and reporting of performance metrics, to deliver effective and efficient customer support.
  • Executes basic and medium-complexity operational procurement transactions to ensure business partner satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Source "services" purchasing requisitions and issue purchase orders (i.e., work authorizations and service agreements), for internal customers according to Company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Updates purchase orders based on change orders and other needs.
  • Obtains acknowledgement of purchase order receipts from suppliers, and updates purchase orders accordingly.
  • Maintains good relationships with business partners and suppliers through high-level customer service while supporting the category strategies established by Strategic Procurement.
  • Collaborates, as needed, with the Supply Chain center of excellence (COE), Strategic Procurement, and business partners on sourcing events, projects, and other initiatives to address recurring issues, improve efficiency, and improve satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or other related field; OR 4 years of relevant procurement or service center experience.
  • In addition to any experience required above, 2 years of relevant customer service and/or procurement experience required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills desired.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to be persuasive and build credibility desired.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes, policies, and tools
