What is an HR Sales professional?

An HR Sales professional is responsible for selling human resources-related products or services, such as recruitment solutions, employee benefits, HR software, or training programs, to businesses and organizations. They work to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and build strong relationships with clients. Typically, HR Sales professionals combine knowledge of human resources practices with strong sales and communication skills to help organizations improve their HR processes and achieve business goals.

How does the HR Sales role typically collaborate with both internal HR teams and external clients?

In an HR Sales role, you'll frequently serve as the crucial link between your company's HR solutions and the clients who need them. You'll collaborate with internal HR experts to understand the details of products or services, ensuring you can accurately communicate their value to potential clients. Externally, you'll work closely with client HR teams to assess their needs, propose tailored solutions, and support implementation. This dual collaboration requires strong communication skills and the ability to balance the interests of both your organization and your clients.

To thrive as an HR Sales professional, you need a strong background in human resources concepts, sales techniques, and client relationship management, often supported by a bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field. Familiarity with CRM software, HRIS platforms, and sales analytics tools is typically required. Exceptional communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships are standout soft skills in this role. These skills are crucial for identifying client needs, delivering tailored HR solutions, and driving business growth in a competitive market.

Company Overview
Restore Hyper Wellness is the leading retail provider of alternative health and wellness modalities in the United States. Our goal is to make Hyper Wellness® widely accessible, affordable, and fun. This means helping people from all walks of life feel better and perform at a higher level so they can do more of what they love in life. We are part of a franchise group that has 5 locations across Westchester and Brooklyn.
The Role
Looking to start a real career, not just take a job? Restore Hyper Wellness is building out our leadership pipeline in Westchester, and we're looking for high-potential recent grads who want to run their own studio and are willing to earn it fast.
You'll start as a Client Experience & Sales Specialist (Hyper Wellness Rep), the heartbeat of the studio, but this role is your on-ramp, not your ceiling. Our fastest-growing team members move from Rep to Senior Rep in 3-6 months, to Assistant General Manager shortly after, and into a General Manager seat within 18-24 months of joining.
If you're competitive, coachable, and want ownership over a business fast, this is built for you.
The Path
  1. Hyper Wellness Rep (Day 1) — Learn the business from the ground up: sales, client experience, studio operations
  2. Senior Hyper Wellness Rep (~3-6 months) — Take on more ownership, mentor new hires, deepen sales performance
  3. Assistant General Manager — Own studio operations and a piece of the P&L alongside the GM
  4. General Manager (~18-24 months) — Run your own studio: team, sales targets, client experience, P&L
(Timeline reflects our strongest performers. Actual pace depends on performance, not tenure.)
Compensation & Growth
Every step up comes with real earning growth, and bonus opportunities exist at every level (structure evolves as you move up, from sales bonuses on the floor to performance/P&L bonuses at AGM and GM):
  • Hyper Wellness Rep — $20/hr + sales bonus opportunities
  • Senior Hyper Wellness Rep (~3-6 months) — $22/hr + sales bonus opportunities
  • Assistant General Manager — Salaried, starting at $55k + bonus
  • General Manager (~18-24 months) — Salaried, $70k–$100k+ + bonus

What You'll Do (Starting Point)
Sales & Client Growth
  • Conduct studio tours and confidently present and close service packages and memberships
  • Own outbound client outreach: re-engage past clients, follow up on leads, and drive rebookings
  • Consistently hit membership, package, and retail sales targets
  • Serve as the go-to expert on Restore's services so you can sell with confidence, not just familiarity

Client Experience
  • Greet and assist clients, and manage phone, text, and voicemail follow-up
  • Handle booking, scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Onboard new clients: waivers and POS profile setup
  • Educate clients on services, medical benefits, precautions, and at-home care

Studio Operations & Culture
  • Open and/or close the studio, keeping it safe, clean, and welcoming
  • Represent Restore's mission and Hyper Wellness lifestyle in every interaction
  • Help build a studio culture where every team member feels valued and recognized

Qualifications
  • Recent grad (or within ~1-2 years of graduating) hungry to build a career, not just fill time
  • Competitive, coachable, and comfortable being measured on results
  • No health/wellness or retail experience required; we're looking for drive and trainability, not a resume match
  • Comfortable with sales and goals; we'll teach you the rest
  • Willing to work weekends (busiest, highest-opportunity shifts)
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour to start (see Compensation & Growth above for full path)
