Job description

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a Human Resources & Recruiting Manager to lead and direct the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The Human Resources & Recruiting Manager will work closely with management and employees to oversee recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, workplace safety administration, and employee development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, applicant tracking, resume reviews, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer administration
  • Ensure applicant tracking systems are maintained with accurate and current candidate information
  • Oversee and manage onboarding activities, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed accurately
  • Coordinate new employee workplace setup and training programs
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
  • Implement and communicate company policies and procedures to employees
  • Assist with employee coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, suspensions, and terminations
  • Coordinate performance management, corrective actions, employee development, and KPI initiatives
  • Maintain employee records, HR policies, and the employee handbook
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Manage I-9 administration and conduct periodic I-9 audits
  • Monitor employee attendance, benefits administration, required postings, and HR compliance requirements
  • Address employee concerns regarding payroll, benefits, sick time, and time-off requests
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Human Resources and Recruiting Standard Operating Procedures
  • Manage workplace injury reporting, workers' compensation claims, and OSHA documentation from initial incident through claim resolution
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop employees
  • Strong understanding of recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations processes
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and deadline-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations
  • Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train Human Resources staff
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the Human Resources department
  • Provide performance evaluations and employee coaching
  • Handle employee disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy
  • Manage Human Resources Compliance Coordinators
Compensation:
$85,000-$100,000 Annually
